Ballet is one of the most demanding but also one of the most enjoyable dance forms ever created, providing benefits such as good posture, discipline and confidence building. We run Royal Academy of Dance Graded and Vocational classes encouraging the joy of movement in children from 3 years of age. We offer annual outings to the Royal Opera House, hold workshops and other dance related events.

Welcome to our new website.  Thanks to Steve at whateverdesign.co.uk, I now have the facility to update this home page so it will probably save you a phone call if you look here first!

We are also GETTING GREENER - from this term you may pay fees on line. I will email you my account details.  Please use your child's/children's name(s) as the reference.  I shall, of course, still accept cheques and cash.  I hope by next term to have all electronic accounts.

There will be NO CLASSES on Monday 15th and Tuesday 16th November as we have our exams on thoses dates. Sorry - there was no practical alternative.

Many congratulations to India Roberts who joins Ella Woodward on The Royal Ballet School's Associates Programme.

Very well done to all examination candidates last term.  Especially Chloe Clark who was awarded a Distinction for her Royal Academy of Dance Advanced 1 Vocational exam. Half of the Graded exam results were also Distinctions with the other half awarded High Merits.

The Special workshop in aid of the Royal Academy of Dance South East Awards Day with Nicola Linzie raised £414. I shall be posting details of the Kent and Surrey heats later in the term.  The sessions were not only enjoyable but the Swan Lake was challenging.  So now...

AN OUTING TO INSPIRE US I have put in a request for 53 tickets at the Royal Opera House to see the Royal Ballet Company dance Swan Lake - the evening performance on Saturday 22nd January 2011.  We will have a coach and I will let you know the price as soon as I have the confirmations.  Please put the date in your diary now and start saving up!
