Welcome

Ballet is one of the most demanding but also one of the most enjoyable dance forms ever created, providing benefits such as good posture, discipline and confidence building. We run Royal Academy of Dance Graded and Vocational classes encouraging the joy of movement in children from 3 years of age. We offer annual outings to the Royal Opera House, hold workshops and other dance related events.

Photographs October 25th

We are hosting a photographic session at the school on Saturday 25th October. We have two professional photographers from Ashwood & Stanton taking individual photographs at the school. Booking is required, we currently have two slots available in the afternoon, the morning is fully booked.

Pre School Ballet Monday & Saturday.

We hold classes starting at 3 years of age for pre school ballet on Monday at 3.15-4.00pm or Saturday at 2.00-2.45pm. It is an excellent introduction into the structure of ballet lessons, lots of imagination and themes are involved in the class, designed so that they are performing ballet exercises in a manner that is fun and stimulating. Children may attend a trial lesson on one of these days, please contact the school for further information.

Adult Ballet Tuesdays 8-9pm

Adult ballet is a great way to get toned, improve posture, coordination and connect with the inner dancer! If you danced as a child or student and are keen to dust of your ballet shoes again do come and join our friendly energetic group in Beckenham.

Royal Academy of Dance Examinations

The provisional date for exams this coming term is Friday 21st November. We await confirmation that this terms exams will be in the afternoon/early evening on this date.

Royal Ballet Company class.

A group from the school visited the Royal Opera House to watch company class on the 3rd October. This proved an inspirational event in which we were all amazed by Principal Sarah Lamb and her flexibility, Steven McRae and his turns. The jumps...no one individual can be singled out, but stunning.
