Our very first midsummer concert is taking place on 22nd June, tickets are being handed to students involved this week in class. Daniel Pratt will be back from America and performing during the evening. 

Adult Ballet Tuesdays 8-9pm

Adult ballet is a great way to get toned, improve posture, coordination and connect with the inner dancer! If you danced as a child or student and are keen to dust of your ballet shoes again do come and join our friendly energetic group in Beckenham.

This was an inspirational class of boys from the English National ballet school which some of the boys from the Janie Harris School of Dance were invited to observe at the Royal Academy of Dance. The dancers were stunning, we were all impressed by their beautiful feet, high extensions, enormous jumps and multipule pirouettes!

Matthew Bourne's Sleeping Beauty.                                                                                                                                                                          Our annual dance trip in April this year was to see Matthew Bourne's Sleeping Beauty. This was a thoroughly enjoyable evening and the production is highly recommended to any one who was unable to attend.

Success. Well done to Hannah Hutchins who has been accepted as a Junior Associate at the Royal Ballet School. Congratulations to Thameenah Khaliq who will be attending Laban full time in the autumn and to Zoe McVicker who has successfully auditioned for RADA. Well done to Isla Pearce for being accepted to the English Youth ballet production of Swan Lake taking place this summer at the Marlowe Theatre Canterbury. Congratulations to former student Daniel Pratt who has just joined the Sarasota Ballet Company.
