to former pupil, Penny Holmes, who has just graduated from the Bird College in Sidcup. She attended her first audition for Spirit of the Dance and was successful! If the tour comes anywhere near us I will organise an outing!
September outing
Our Outing to Billy Elliot on Friday 12th September to see Ella is full. I am arranging group transport by train from Beckenham Junction station. Under 18s fare is £1 return, over 18s fare £3.20 return. Please let me know if you want to come with us.
Chinese Acrobatic Company
Remember the picture on the notice board of a beautiful Chinese ballerina standing en pointe in arabesque on top of her partner’s head? I went to see their Acrobatic Company dance Swan Lake at the Royal Opera House last week. It was truly AMAZING and I could hardly believe my eyes! Have a look at this little clip. The lady who is talking at the beginning of the clip is the ex head of the Paris Opera Ballet School.

RAD Vocational Classes
I am delighted to tell you that Cheryl Thrush ARAD AISTDdip AIDTA has started RAD Vocational Classes for intermediate and advanced students. Cheryl is a former pupil and excellent teacher, and we are very lucky to have her teaching this standard locally.
